Welcome to Captivate and Close. I'm Kinsey Machos, business consultant and marketing strategist. And I'm going to show you how to attract and enroll high paying clients using my break through online marketing strategies, all without having to rely on complicated funnels, disingenuous clickbait, or spammy sales tactics. These are the messaging marketing and selling secrets that virtually no one is talking about. So let's dive in.

Hey, you, welcome back to another episode of Captivate and Close. I am so happy to be here with you this morning, this afternoon, this evening, whenever you're plugging in, I am really just sitting and feeling excited about this springtime energy, I can smell it in the air. And it's starting to peak in weather, which is so amazing. And I can feel my energy levels, my brain, my body just sort of awakening, this is a very fine sort of transitional period of time. You know, winter is always just a little bit heavier for me. And I know that my peak seasons are definitely, you know, spring and then end of summer summer is really meant for playful, just to be playful for us. And so I'm not, you know, working very hard, if you will.

Kinsey Machos:

But spring season is like go season for us. And in fact, we were just doing a 90 day planning session with my female founders board clients, which is our High Level Mastermind. Every quarter, we do a quarterly planning session. And this is really a go season for for all of my clients. And I think this is the general, maybe industry norm, if you will, kind of again coming out of hibernation, you've found your feet for the year. And now it's like, okay, I found my rhythm, let's go. So I'm definitely feeling that energy today. And I want to just encourage you to find your own rhythms. And notice also how the seasons play into that because that's super important. Alright, let's talk about your perfect content system. This is a really fun topic for me, because I am very non traditional when it comes to content systems came, which is sort of counterintuitive to my expertise, right? We teach content that converts everything that we do really stems from content, right, if you think about your marketing, your offer your sales, everything is sort of like everything feeds into your content. And your content is your social media posts. It's your opt in pages, it's your webinars, it's your challenges, whatever that looks like. And so because of that, right, people come to us and learn how to get their content to convert, we do this inside a 10k content collective and it is literally mind blowing. And the results that people are getting into just such a simple way we have simplified the process so good, that we have noticed like our clients are like, I feel kind of off because like I was actually excited to go to work today. And she's like is that normal? Like this is what we want to do for you. We want to make business fun. We want your We want your creation, to be fun, whether that's you know, your content creation, your offer creation, your client creation, wherever that looks like we want it to be fun and joyful. And so everything we do really is simple. And this is no, this is no different. So one of the most frequent questions I get and also that I see is like, what is your content planning system? Can I have right a plug and play system that lets me see, right? What I'm posting when I'm posting so I can just like plug and play. Now here's what's cool about that is like yes, it does take a lot of sort of that guesswork out of your content creation if you know exactly what to post every day walking into the week with a plan, but that's in a perfect world. And here's what I've learned about content planning systems or structures is that they only work right your perfect system for you is the one that you choose to make work for you.

Kinsey Machos:

So I've been in the industry for a couple years now and I have tested and tried, all the content systems came. I've tried planning 90 days in advance, I've tried planning 30 days in advance, I played tried planning weeks in advance, I've tried using Google Sheets, Asana, Trello. Slack, like, I have tried it all. And at the end of the day, it always falls back on what works for me. And what I find is this question is actually a distractor, to you creating your best content, right, I think it's a really good excuse to focus on things that don't really matter, but you believe that they matter. And it's keeping you from stepping into your brilliance, which can be uncomfortable. It's, it's, it's having you, it's preventing you from exploring your voice, is preventing you from really deepening your convictions with your audience, which can be polarizing, which again, is scary, and it can be fearful. Okay, so when, but when you focus on Oh, I just need the perfect system, I need a better content system, I need a better planner. Right? Then it allows you to not think about those things or worry about those things. And it's so much easier to point the finger at having the wrong system. But here's, here's the secret, you guys, I still don't have a system down pat like, and I have a team of five people, and people rely on me while they're waiting on me. And so I do have to have things done in a certain period of time. But I have yet to find a system that I love outside of the system that already works for me. And I think what I want for you to take away from this is like, why are you focusing on finding the right system, instead of just focusing on creating your most potent content, and letting the system evolve and come to the surface? Allow yourself to sort of do it messy?

Kinsey Machos:

Allow yourself to discover what works for you? What does not work for you? Instead of trying to chase like all the perfect systems? How many Downloadables? Have you received right free downloads of like the perfect content calendar? And how many trainings have you taken on this right? How to plan out all the different, you know, days of content. And yet you probably walk away? Yeah, you feel clear for a moment. But you probably don't end up following the system, right? Because it's their system. At the end of the day, I just want you bringing fire to your content and not worry about a dam system. And I want you to ask yourself, Why am I so worried about the system? What is it that is causing me to feel overwhelmed or not excited about creating content, if you feel like you need a better system, what's preventing you from just trying a new system, but focusing on the content creation, if all you're thinking is I need a better system, I need a better system, right? Your brain is solving problems for a better system rather than solving problems for demonstrating your best brilliance in your content, which is going to be the thing that converts clients do not get distracted. My friends, this is so so common in our industry, it does not just show up here in like I need the perfect content calendar system. It's also in all the other shiny things that you find yourself distracted in to avoid the things you actually need to be doing, which can be uncomfortable, right? Oh, I just need to be build a better website, oh, I need to relaunch my brand colors. Oh, I need to like figure out my messaging first. Right? You need to sit with yourself, you need to sit with your thoughts. You need to sit with your ideas. And you need to be able to communicate them in a way that's resonating with your audience, period. If you are not spending your time doing those things, and always sort of hustling through systems and worrying about, you know, having the right thing, you'll never experience your best brilliance. And that's what I want for you because that is what your audience your best potential clients. That's what they need to see in here in order for them to come closer to you and your offer.

Kinsey Machos:

So I want you to drop this idea that there's a perfect planning system, I want you to stop thinking that your system doesn't work, or you need a better one, or you need to find that thing or wasting time on finding that thing. Instead of just sitting down and creating my friends. When you remove the parameters or the rules or sort of the structure and just let it out, let it flow and just honor the system you already have. Whether it might be clunky or not. It's just how you think about it. Maybe you just need to stop thinking that's clunky. I don't know. But whatever it is, it's it has to again, kind of got to like dig through that crud so that you can just Like be with your best thoughts and your best ideas and create that is where the fire comes from. And that is how you create that online magnetic potent presence that makes you so much money. It's ridiculous. So I hope this was helpful for you. I'm sure you came here looking for the perfect content system. But my friends, there is nothing. There is no such thing. Right? Whatever. I want you to decide that whatever system you're doing right now is perfect. As long as you have the space for your best creation, your best creativity, right? And not is sitting in your thoughts and ideas and creating and practicing and exploring and amplifying that voice. Cool. All right, girls, I'll see you next time.
