Belief Plan

If you spend more time working on your strategy than you do on your beliefs, you’re at risk for burning out, giving up, and turning your back on your dreams. In this episode, we’re going to show you how to create a solid belief plan that will act as a guiding compass to getting anything you want (even when the doubt and fear seem too heavy to carry).

But let's talk about a belief plan. This is really fun. We are in the thick of a Thirty k in Thirty days challenge that we are running exclusively with our clients. This was something that you've probably heard about this, I've been talking about it in several other podcasts here and there. This is something that sort of came to me as a download randomly, a couple months ago, probably several, three or four months ago, I always know that like, especially in our paid programs, you know, you want to monitor when people are more likely to dip in their own performance, when they're going to become discouraged when they're going to doubt themselves things like that. And it's always fun to be able to think of ways like how can we reinvigorate people's minds and hearts to just again, like, create a new wave of momentum. And September really is an important month of the year, we've been talking a lot about this and all of our content lately hits, you know, before the holiday season, it's right after, you know, coming off of the playful season of summer, kids are back to school, you have more space in your day, likely.

And it's it's a high high buying season for a lot of people. So we decided to run this Thirty K in Thirty days challenge and oh my gosh, it is it's old. We're only the first weekend at the time of this recording. And I cannot believe the results that people are already getting. And also most importantly, having them see their own potential. You guys, I know you. And it's there is like a cap there. We all have caps on ourselves. And that's what really growing evolving is, is you're kind of like busting through new ceilings each time. But when you are just getting started or even when you're finding rhythm in your business, and you're, you know, not quite at the ten k months, but even between Ten and Fifty K months, you really don't have awareness to what's truly possible. And we let pre programmed beliefs kind of drive our actions because that's all we know. And so it's really about expanding belief and taking action from a bigger space of that belief. And that's what I want to talk about with you today. Because we had, we had our claims do some prep work prior to Thirty K in Thirty days, this isn't just about making Thirty k in a month. This is also aligning your behaviors and your beliefs toward what you actually want to create because just like I said, if you continue to operate from old programmed beliefs, you're just going to continue to get the same results that you always get. If you want to achieve things you've never achieved before you have to start believing new things you have to increase your level of thinking and if you are about to tune away from this and say I've already heard this already know this like you might need this message The most, because it is it really comes down to as much as I love marketing, as much as I love to teach our clients how to convert more clients with their organic content every single day. It really comes down to do you believe you can achieve it or not? What are your belief patterns because everything else is driven from those belief patterns. And one of the things that we had them do was go through an exercise we called the belief plan. And the premise of this is really about working harder on your thinking, than you do in your strategy. So what we find the most often again, we are all guilty of this, I am constantly having to shift my focus and remind myself here, but this is a huge, huge, huge if you don't, if you don't get anything from me, I would love for you to at least get this that when you learn how to focus more on how you think, why you think what you're thinking, and you build the skill, the change that it won't matter what tactical strategy you use to create success. So, for instance, let's say you are running a challenge or webinar, as a core method for getting clients. I'm seeing this because I know this is a very common one, we use challenges. A lot of our clients use challenges as well, some use webinars. But regardless, you have some sort of vehicle for conversion event, and you are so focused on mastering this one conversion event. Again, challenge masterclass, whatever that looks like for you. And you aren't getting the results you want to get. You're seeing low engagement. People aren't showing up for your videos. They're not opening up the emails, and they're definitely not booking calls or buying your thing or hiring you as a coach. And so what we see, again, I'm speaking to many of you, what we see is I need to do more here, I need to fix the strategy, I need to figure out how to get more people to the videos, I need to work harder to figure out what people will do to engage with me, I need to work harder to get people to book a call with me. And so we go to work on the strategy itself, thinking that is the problem. And while yes, there's always opportunities to optimize your strategy, what is missing most often is there's no recognition or awareness to the thoughts that are creating the results you're getting.

Kinsey Machos:

And how we see this played out again, if I ask the right questions to our clients that are coming to us, they're like my challenges in converting my webinars and 40 or whatever, I can pretty quickly get a sense for what they're focusing on, and what thoughts they're trying to fix by trying to fix a strategy. And if we're constantly believing, I need to work harder, I need to do more, I need to do better, you will always always fix your problems out of working harder and you will burn out. Again, I'm speaking from firsthand experience, because this still is a default pattern of mine. I have a really strong work ethic I've always had I always have. It's got me really far in corporate it has gotten me really far in in entrepreneurship, what's happening is you do cap yourself out, energy time, etc. And so if we don't understand what we're thinking, during the time of that specific conversion event or whatever, whatever you're doing, writing content, taking a sales call speaking to somebody in the DMS, whatever you're thinking is going to drive that action that you take. And if we go back to this challenge example if you think that you need people to like you, for you to be successful. What do you think is happening in not only the energy that you're coming up to in your videos, but you're going to be focusing in the weeds of the subconscious belief that I need people to like me, I need people to be here to validate that I am successful. And if people aren't showing up, then that means I am not successful. And so we go down this spiral of fixing a problem that really isn't a problem. We just need to change the thought pattern behind it. I don't need people to like me, I'm worthy of Access, I have a message that matters. And I'm going to show up for the people that need me. Again, you may or may not depending on your journey in thought work, you may not be aware right away of some of the thoughts you're having as you're implementing your strategy. But I want you to really take note, I really want you to consider this. What are the thoughts that you're having, in these certain certain circumstances. And if you can, just allow yourself to pause before you go out, to change the thing, change the strategy, do more doing, take a pause, and really do an audit of your thoughts. Dump it out and look at all the things that you're thinking about. And that's where I want you to work. It's changing your thoughts before you go to work on your strategy. And I promise this one degree shift will mean everything for you your business in your life. And we constantly operate out of thoughts that don't serve us, it will send us spinny. Same thing goes, if you're reading content with the thoughts of I Am, nobody likes me. Nobody's gonna like us. What will people think of me when I put this out there?

Will they think I'm annoying? Is it spamming me to make another offer and my content? Will this get enough engagement, if we're having thoughts while we create content, your content will not be magnetic, it will not produce results, because you're creating it from lack. And I don't say this out of judgment, it is really just our default system. And so you have to go to work to change the thoughts before you go changing the strategy. And this was huge, huge awareness for me several years ago, when I was constantly pivoting my strategies, thinking I had a winner, right? It's like, oh, if I just do a webinar, I will be more successful. Or if I just run ads, I will be more successful. But what I never, nobody really ever taught me was like to pull back the curtain and ask what I wanted, what I saw, like what I define successful as, so I could get clear there. And then think about what that meant for me and how I was thinking about it. And I could see all the baggage that my brain was carrying. As I was operating my strategies, no wonder they weren't working for me had nothing to do with the strategy itself, had everything to do with how I was thinking about it, how I was thinking about myself how I was thinking about my worthiness, or lack thereof, how I was allowing the opinions of other to drive what I did or didn't do. I was like really stalling out in fear of judgment. So it's really, really important to take a pulse check on these things. Before you change your mind in anything that you're doing. Whether you are considering a new offer, whether you're considering considering a new vehicle for converting clients, whether you think you are leveraging a new thing, to create something, right, it's like, oh, I just need to do this. And that will make it better I get any time, there's sort of a if this, then that nature of thinking for you, I really want you to pause. And that isn't a really good opportunity to do some thought work. And that's where I really want you to spend time. And this belief plan is something that is working very effectively for clients, but it's really listing out all the thoughts that you have about yourself about your business about your claims about your potential claims. And really considering what is what are the thoughts that are going to get in the way in the way from me creating the success that I defined for myself. And when you can see those what happens is we get a create a new thought, instead of thinking I have nobody in my audience that wants to buy my program, we can have the thought that there are so many people waiting for me to invite them into my program. This is truly I know a lot of you are probably thinking that easier said than done. But it is not. It's a decision. Every moment you shift every moment you make that decision to believe something different. But it does take sort of that pause to say what am I thinking right now? Because if you're not used to this, it will take some practice to become aware of of your thoughts. But it will happen quickly and you'll be like holy cow. Look at where I'm operating. And you have to start working on new thoughts. And so our clients now have an entire belief plan of the thoughts that are aligned with what they're creating in this case study came Thirty days They know and have identified the thoughts that will help them create that. And anytime they think that something isn't working, or they're doubting themselves, or they're considering shifting directions, or whatever that looks like they go back to the belief plan, they don't change anything about the strategy. They have their exact blueprint for what to do every day. That's reliable. And it's, there's no question. You do it. And that's it. And so when there's any sort of vagueness within the thinking, we go back to the belief plan, what am I thinking now? What do I want to think instead? So this is such a powerful exercise, whether you're going for something big or not, or you just want to change how you show up for yourself and for others in your life. Always go back to the thoughts you're having. This is so important. And before I can I just caution you before you change anything about your strategy before you create anything new in your business, really make sure it's out of the right thoughts. And they're in alignment with where you're going.
